How do I register?

What information will I need to register for Elevate - The Global Commerce Summit?

Registration is easy. Be prepared to provide the following information:

  • Full name
  • Company name
  • Contact information (phone, email)
  • Job title
  • Emergency contact information
  • Special accommodations
  • Credit card number and expiration date for event fees or hotel guarantee (American Express, MasterCard and Visa are accepted)
  • Hotel selection
  • Arrival and departure dates

Can I register someone else?

Yes, online registration allows you to register on behalf of others. Each registration requires a unique email address, which is used to generate login credentials and is needed for check-in at the conference.

What is included in my registration fee for a Full Conference Pass?

Your registration fee for a Full Conference Pass entitles you to the following:

  • All Keynotes
  • Breakout sessions
  • Expo Hall
  • Welcome Reception
  • Havana Nights Party
  • Conference meals

What is included in my registration fee for a Developer Training + Conference Activity Pass?

Your registration fee for Developer Training + Conference Activity Pass entitles you to the following:

  • Opening Keynote
  • Expo Hall
  • Welcome Reception
  • Havana Nights Party
  • Conference meals

Is there a deadline for registration?

We do expect the conference to sell out and it is best to register early. Additionally, registrations received early may qualify for discounts. Visit Pricing for conference pass pricing information and special offers.

What payment methods are accepted for registration?

You have the option to pay by credit card (American Express, MasterCard and Visa) or by wire transfer. Just select your payment option when prompted in the registration process, and you will be billed accordingly. A payment receipt will be sent to the email address you used to register.

Please note that the payment for Developer Training is not included in the Registration Fee. If you select the option for Developer Training a separate invoice will be generated for this. The Developer Training will always be in addition to the Conference registration fee.

When will I receive confirmation of my registration?

An email confirmation will be sent to you upon completion of your registration. If you have not received this email within 12 hours, please alert elevate@commercetools.com.

Can I be denied registration for any reason?

commercetools reserves the right to deny registration to any individual, attending group or entity for any reason, at the company’s sole discretion, including for failure to meet commercetools code of conduct (including, but not limited to, engaging in violent, illegal, threatening or discriminatory conduct).

Do I need a visa to attend the conference?

A few countries require a visa for entry into the United States. We strongly recommend that attendees double check with the U.S. Department of State for the latest travel and visa requirements.

What is the cancellation/refund policy?

All cancellation requests must be sent via email to elevate@commercetools.com. Cancellation requests submitted by December 20, 2023, will receive a full refund. After December 20, 2023, no refunds will be provided. Replacement attendees from your company may be substituted at any time by providing written notice via email of the names of both original and replacement registrants.

You will not be able to request a refund of your ticket in case of cancellation of the Conference due to circumstances beyond the control of commercetools, such as a force majeure event, issues with Conference venue, or cancellation request issued by a public authority.

In the unlikely event commercetools postpones or cancels the Conference for any other reason, our total aggregate liability to you is limited to the refund of Conference attendance fees that remain after credit card and payment processing fees have been incurred and deducted, and we will not be liable to you for any other expenditure, damage or loss incurred by you as a result of such cancellation or postponement.

Hotels

How do I book my hotel reservation?

We have arranged a special discounted rate at Gale South Beach and Lennox Miami Beach. When you register online for Elevate - The Global Commerce Summit, you will have an opportunity to request your hotel. You will receive an email with a specific link, unique to you, that will enable you to register and pay on the hotel site directly with your credit card. Note that conference hotel rooms are based on availability.

Do I need to give a credit card to reserve my hotel room?

Yes, a credit card will be needed to confirm your reservation at all group hotels.

What time is check-in and checkout at the hotels reserved for Elevate - The Global Commerce Summit?

Standard hotel check-in time is 4:00 p.m. and checkout time is 11:00 a.m.

If I am not registered for Elevate - The Global Commerce Summit, how do I book my hotel room?

To take advantage of special discounted room rates, you must be registered for the conference and book your hotel through the registration site.

Is transportation provided from the airport to the conference hotels?

No, transportation is not provided. Please check Travel for information on different options, including rideshare and taxis.

At the conference

How do I pick up my badge?

You will receive an email one hour before registration starts that contains the magic link to pick up your badge. You will be able to pick up your badge at the Registration Desk during open registration hours. The desk will be located in the Miami Beach Convention Center. For security purposes, be prepared to show government-issued photo identification to pick up your badge.

Do I need to wear my badge throughout the entire conference?

Yes, please wear your conference badge to all functions, sessions and meetings so you can be readily identified as an attendee of Elevate - The Global Commerce Summit. These special interactive conference badges are a key part of the precautions being taken to ensure a safe and secure working environment, and must be returned before you leave the conference.

What meals are included in the registration fee?

Breakfast, lunch, and morning and afternoon refreshments will be provided on Wednesday, April 17. Attendees are invited to the Welcome Reception on Tuesday, April 16, and the Havana Nights Party on Wednesday, April 17, where heavy hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be served. Please note that the catering kitchen and catering staff of the Miami Beach Convention Center openly handle several allergens throughout the conference which include, but are not limited to, dairy, eggs, peanuts, soy, tree nuts, shellfish, and wheat. While they take precautions to keep ingredients separate, they cannot guarantee that the menu items offered are allergen- or gluten-free. All catered food and beverage will be properly labeled prior to service. If you are concerned with any of the offered menu items, please request to speak with a banquet captain prior to enjoying your meal.

When is the Havana Nights Party?

This exclusive event featuring entertainment, music, food and beverages will take place on Wednesday, April 17. Please refer to the agenda for the latest information on times and location. Badges must be worn to attend the Havana Nights event.

What is the recommended attire for attendees?

The attire for Elevate - The Global Commerce Summit is business casual (slacks, polo shirts, etc.). Please keep in mind the convention center and hotels are fully air-conditioned and may be cool at times. A light jacket or sweater for indoor wear is recommended.

What is the common language spoken at Elevate - The Global Commerce Summit?

The official language of the conference is English, and all general sessions will be presented in English. Translation services will not be provided. To request an access accommodation, such as sign language interpreters or captioning services, contact elevate@commercetools.com.

Will Internet access be available?

Wi-Fi and charging stations will be available throughout the meeting rooms and common areas of the Miami Beach Convention Center. Information on how to access wireless connectivity will be provided on-site and through the mobile app.
