The Convention Center

Born in 1958 at the height of Rat Pack popularity and home to both Muhammad Ali’s first heavyweight championship and Art Basel Miami Beach, the Miami Beach Convention Center is part tropical jewel, part art museum. MBCC features $10.2 million dollars’ worth of art curated by the City of Miami Beach Art in Public Places, and a recent $640 million restoration has brought back its original glamour.
